Life just after Pujas - A wardrobe filled with clothes, camera full of pics, mind full of memories and heart filled with longingness!!!

Done with the Durga Puja celebrations it is now time for some deliberation of life after Pujas.

This is how you may be feeling:
  1. You might feel heavier - with those hours spent on munching puchkas, chaats and home cooked delicacies, what can you expect other than raising the bar on the weighing machine!!
  2. You are left to sort some 500 or more pics of friends, friends of friends and also friend of friend's friend. God, that's terrible when you don't even recognize many of the people in pic. May be you should upload it on FB and let all of the FB public tag themselves.
  3. Day after Durga Puja celebrations you stand with some list of girls/guys to check out in the upcoming college and schools fests. In that sense Durga Puja can be considered as a public demo to pick and choose your choices for the college or school festivities.
  4. You seriously have to worry about some of the alarming fashion choices that you might have made while jostling with the crowd in the mad rush of Puja shopping which we popularly call as kenakati. Who shops sensibly in Pujas. So next year's resolution - Plan Puja shopping ahead. Shhh.. Don't spread the word. The crowd might follow you!!
  5. You are left wondering with over 50 friend requests in 5 days of Pujas. Over 100 pics that carry some part of your small body structure and so you are tagged to those pics. Infact, there are some where you cannot recognise your own self. That's what we call as "Durga Puja in FB kingdom". Give me a break as my e-mail account is buzzed with surfeit of FB notifications stating that the pic you tagged in has been LIKED by so and so. Please spare your inbox from crashing and hit the UNLIKE button on pics that you cannot recognise!! If the UNLIKE button is not available spread the word - may be Mark Zuckerberg might listen!!
  6. But, yes, I shall miss the madness and creativity that the madness presents and colour that the creativity brings out and joys that colours generate and longingness that the joy brings during the festival called Durga Puja.
Add your own list and share as what you miss the most about Pujas!!
